About

I am Professora Adjunta at ISCAP (School of Accountancy and Administration of Porto). I lecture since 1990. In 2007, I was appointed Vice Dean of ISCAP. I am a Member of the Agoritmi Research Center at Universidade do Minho and of the CIEO at Universidade do Algarve. I lecture at ISCAP and at DEEC at Univerisdade de Coimbra.
I obtained my PhD at Universidade do Minho in Technology and Information Systems in 2002.
My research interests include Knowledge and Innovation Management, Impact of Information Systems in Organization, Life Long Learning at Higher Education level and e-learning. I have been involved in several European (Socrates and Lifelong Learning) and National research projects.
I have published numerous papers in various international journals and Conference Proceedings. I am a member of the Programme Committee and Scientific Committee of several National and International Conferences, in most cases also serving as referee. I serve as Member of the Editorial Board and referee for IGI Global. I also serve as Associate Editor of the Information Resources Management Journal, I am the editor in chief of the International Journal of Technology and Human Interaction. I serve as referee for the Journal of Cases of Information Technology. I have also been evaluator and reviewer for European Commission projects.
